They take way too long to settle funds. Higher OTC fees than some competitors. Their cash sweep is trash on uninvested funds. I'm not into crypto but they're late to the game on that as well.

It feels like they're stuck in the early 2000's

Funny, RH gets shat upon by many around here and elsewhere. Yet, I 3% maych IRA contributions and 2-3% on rollovers plus sweep yield is 3.35%.
Not an active trader so I could care less about Payment for Order Flow or halting trading on MEME stocks.

When TD Ameritrade closed down and got forced to Schwab it only took about two months for me to move it.

I like Fidelity Web interface the most.. Vanguard is the most respected and safest.

Fidelity has some risk since they custody their own crypto. But the crypto business is completely separate company known as Fidelity digital assets. Specifically to separate the out sized risk. Fidelity digital assets also has much different terms than Fidelity. However not a fan of them taking the risk.

All the other banks push all the risk on coinbase.

I guess I don’t trade enough to see it but Schwab is fine for me, I only use the mobile app tho and it’s easy to navigate

But I also don’t trade often

I guess my usage has been limited to Schwab ETFs so I haven't experienced any of these issues.

This. Always been fantastic for me and I’m judgy.

I think for heavy day traders I could see Schwab being less than tier 1.

But for your avg investor they have extremely low fees, great customer service, lots of options to trade, and user friendly app and website.

Schwab has been fine for my non-retirement account, and I use RH for my Roth IRA since they give me a bonus each year.
