Sport where you can legitimately pit women vs men?

Watching the women’s hockey GM game and I am struck by how bad they are at basic skills compared to the men. Just passing and catching looks slow and sloppy.
Got me to thinking if there is any sport where you can adjust the conditions for the legitimate differences in physiology and still see reasonably even comparisons of skill.
The only thing I can come up with is golf. Shorten the course to adjust for driving disparity, and the rest of the game is basically hand-eye coordination. You are playing the course and the mind instead of your opponent’s body.
Thoughts?

Chess...if you consider that a sport

Curling.
Disagree on golf. Driving distance is always an advantage no matter how short the course, unless we’re talking putt putt.

I don't know. Just watching the USA mixed pair, the guy was doing all of the sweeping. He was busting his arse the entire time. I am not sure the women have the same stamina.

Billiards and darts, maybe?

Nah, take a look at the world rankings.
Women are clearly inferior. Why though?

Wouldn't help. If they played from the same tee box, no matter how short the course, the men are going to be hitting less club into the green than the women. Unless you were meaning just shorten it for the women, not for the men as well.
Playing from different tee boxes would be the only way to even it.

Equestrian Show Jumping and Ultra Marathon running are the only two I can think of

I mean shorten the course for women such that the approach game and in is as close as you can get it.
No way to make it exact, but can get reasonably close.

The men can do much more difficult stunts in those individual sports.

Because it’s not a sport, it’s a competition.

Fencing? Maybe? I know next to nothing about the sport, but it looks to be pretty much entirely dependent on skill and quickness. Even so you'd probably have to segregate divisions by height though.

As the bell curve posted in this thread shows, this depends on whether you are talking about pitting the average woman vs the average man or elite vs elite.
Elite vs elite? there is almost nothing you could propose. Long distance swimming is the only sport where there is an argument as women tend to do well due to center of gravity and bodyfat placement in relation to how it benefits swimming.
Strength, speed, intelligence? They simply wont compete at the elite ends of those things.
