Wow, franchisees must have been raising hell for this to end so soon after all the marketing about reviving it after 20 years. Subway is doing all they can to run off the few customers they still had.
We’re excited that millions of people have joined Sub Club and we want to thank you for being a member. We hope you’ve enjoyed the benefits!
Beginning April 1, 2026, Sub Club’s loyalty program will be updated.
Here’s what’s changing:
The “Fourth Footlong Free” reward will be discontinued as of 4/1/?2026.
You can continue earning stamps towards a Free Footlong before 4/1/2026.
Free Footlongs earned before 4/1/2026 can still be redeemed according to the expiration date listed on your coupon.
Any stamps remaining in your Sub Club account will be forfeited once the update takes effect on 4/1/2026
Members will continue earning 10 points per $1 spent. 400 points = $2 in Subway® Cash, which can be applied toward eligible menu items.

The franchises love ignoring discounts that Subway has big national campaigns for.

Maybe a bad premature April Fool's Joke?
Or they just picked a stupid day to end the program.

So you gotta spend $40 to get $2 off an eligible menu item? Not even worth keeping up with it.

Subway is not remotely worth what it costs now.

Jersey Mike's is where it's at. Or potbelly.
They are expensive but exponentially better quality than Subway.

I would use a $6.99 coupon and was getting 1 in 4 free, it was working out to just more than $5 a sub, there’s no way they can make money on that. That said, if a footlong was more than $6.99, I probably wouldn’t buy it. At least the one by me accepts the coupon codes.

They only have few customers left? Subways are everywhere, bro.

The Indian owned stores run by the family are typically terrible. Ones that have actual employees are usually better.

One of the many reasons I haven't stepped foot in a Subway in 7-8 years.
Not only is their food subpar and overpriced, but all the raghead franchise owners won't accept coupons or participate in promos.
You would think that would be part of the franchise agreement.

Is any fast food? Having a hard time thinking of anything that is worth the money unless it is on sale.

Market saturation was their strategy from the beginning, but they have been losing locations (over 7000) for more than a decade now.

The Subway in Springfield “greets” you as you walk in the door saying we no coupon you! I just turned and walked out. I didn’t even have a coupon

In the last decade plus, don’t think I’ve been to Subway more than 5x, but I’m not their target audience

Same. I even have a subway I can walk to from my house that I’ve lived at for three years now. Never been to it.

You know, I used to prefer eating in restaurants because I enjoy the experience of having a waiter, but nowadays kids are so fricking lazy that service in restaurants is abhorrent and they are not attentive whatsoever ….now my focus is really on the food …so to answer your question yes, I think Chick-fil-A is worth the money
Unless it’s a nice restaurant, it’s hard to rely on having a good experience from the wait staff so now it just all boils down to what I view as value around the food I’m eating

Jersey Mike's got bought by PE. They are done.

For a long while now, Firehouse and Jersey Mikes were the only two sub shops I would eat at. Now that Jimmy John’s will toast their subs I have added them into the rotation. Don’t have a Potbelly so can speak to them.
