honestly, somewhere around an 8 for a villain. He has the acting chops and looks to be a smug a-hole consistently.

Damn fine actor but type-cast, big time. Lot of actors held back because of this.

I wanted to see where that Awake show went back in the day. It was an interesting concept and cool to see him in a different type of role.

He was absolutely hysterical as the ghost of Peter the Great in "The Great" on Hulu. Probably my favorite role of his.

He was the cherry on top in Death of Stalin with his portrayal of Zhukov. He's underrated.

anytime an actor can make the audience feel such visceral loathing and hatred toward their character as he did with Colonel Tavington they've got to be pretty good at their craft. It took me a while to separate my hate for the character and really enjoy the man as an actor in this and other roles.

It took me until the 5th post to realize you weren't asking about Jason Patric. 
The guy from Sleepers, The Lost Boys, Speed 2, etc.
I was like, "How is Jason Patric typecast?"

I do think Kason Isaacs is awesome btw. I like when he says, "Pretty funny, HUA?" in Black Hawk Down.
