Ouch. Bases loaded and 2 outs.

Must’ve had pine tar or something on his throwing hand.

That looks like my level of defensive skill. Which is why I never made it to the NCAA level.

Someone must not have watched the Tom Emanski Defensive Drills video… they won back to back to back AAU national championships

I mean it was endorsed by major league super star Fred McGriff…

Safety bags are idiotic. I'm not sure that guy touched either base and I don't know what the rule is - I thought he had to touch the safety bag, but I don't know when the runner can skip the safety bag. Such a stupid thing for them to put into the sport.

À la Kenny Mayne

“McGriff with the error, and that’s not good at all. Did you know he endorses Tom Emanski Defensive Drills video“

I did that one time. It was as embarrassing as it looks.

A couple of years ago he admitted he still hasn’t seen any of those videos

This, and it aint' even close. The video posted was of a college game. Steve Sax got millions of dollars from the Dodgers to make 25 ft. throws. I remember seeing a video of him overthrowing the first baseman by 15 ft. In 1983, he had 30 throwing errors. Besides this he was a pretty good hitter and great base runner.
