That something like a laser or something similar isn't being used to eliminate mistakes on fair/foul calls.

Agreed say it all the time with football and crossing the goal line. Why does sports take forever adjusting to the times. Too easy to have this fixed and takes nothing away from the game.

It’s LSU’s fault for not having camera bays that have an angle

It’s college baseball they still used aluminum bats, because they can’t afford wooden bats, and you want lasers.

You could put a fricking phone on the foul pole recording video and it would suffice.

No excuse to not have a camera on the pole facing up to see somethign like this.

How bout letting us see the strike zone box like everybody else does. I'd like to see if the umpire is right.

If you can have pylon cams in football, you can have foul pole cams in baseball

Cameras on top of the poles looking up with a superimposed line would be super easy to do

Yep, football finally got the pylon cameras so there should be a foul line camera or something like it.

They good put an exact laser light extended straight out of the foul pole with exact line 200ft in the air. Come on technology has really advanced since the late 1800s.

Been saying this for years! Not hard to do. I’m also for electronic balls and strikes, but baseball’s a traditionalist, stubborn sport. Tennis added electronic line calling and nobody bitches about line calls anymore.

What the electronics can’t do is adjust for stance well enough. This has been the issue.
