Is anyone excited for The Mandalorian and Grogu?

I am intrigued by how apathetic every Star Wars fan seems to be about this film.

But maybe that is because I move in a lot of Star Wars circles, and not the casual fandoms.

Has anyone noticed anything resembling enthusiasm for the film?

The best I have heard is people hoping it isn't really bad.

Cards on the table, I have not seen the Super Bowl trailer, but heard people didn't like it, either

I enjoyed the Mandolorian. Not a big Star Wars guy really. I was happy to see it was coming out. I want to see it.

I enjoyed The Mandalorian, but I honestly can't remember how the show ended and where this movie will pick up

The 1st 2 seasons were great

S3 was embarrassingly bad.

I like the Mandalorian. I just wish the people who run the show liked him as well. It was hard to tell in Season 3 of “BO KATAN! and… the Mandalorian.”

I’ll watch the movie.

Absolutely not. Did you see that trash SB commercial they did?

Not even a little bit. I have kids so I'm sure I'll be seeing it but I'm not sure I finished the last season. I really liked season 1, 2 less so and bailed on 3.

I don't even know when it comes out. It has that little appeal. It also still looks just like the show, so as QT says, 'it's just TV in public.'

Star Wars is an absolutely dead franchise and there's almost now way to save it.

Nope. Seasons 1 and 2 were good. Season 3 was... well... just bad.

BUT... the best episodes of The Book of Boba Fett were the Mandalorian episodes.

Is it too much to ask to have Cobb Vanth return?

Season 3 undid the first two seasons. It had good ideas but they really made Mando a secondary character

No thanks. I don't need another hour and a half of Bo Katan girl boss.

I used to be a massive Star Wars fan but it’s gotten to the point where if Lucas didn’t make it, I just don’t care. 1 good show and movie in Andor and Rogue One does not offset the mountain of soulless crap we’ve gotten in the Disney era. Sure Mando S1 was great, but S2 was a Filoni cameo-fest, and both S3 and the Boba Fett show were terrible. I just don’t care at all about Mando or Baby Yoda, and this will be the first new Star Wars theatrical release I’m skipping (which is saying something because I’ve seen a lot of bad Star Wars movies in the theatre).

I didn't finish Season 3. Once Lizzo entered the fray, I was out. Heard it got worse, just handing over the dark saber to Bo Katan. I've thought about going back and finishing it, but just don't care anymore.
