If DJT can get this over the finish line before he leaves, it will be his greatest accomplishment.
And it will make the USA great again! Elections will be fair and accurate again!.....for both sides!
As I read, the general public is in strong favor of this simple easy rule.....fraud will be greatly reduced, which is why the DEMS leaders are strongly opposed.
Cant wait to watch the MSM and DEMS melt away on this paramount issue....

I don't know much about the Voting Rights Act, but i do know it has provisions that can be applied to state and local government to prevent the "dilution" of votes resulting from government actions such as annexation and gerrymandering.
It would seem like allowing illegals to vote and shoddy voting security would be a major dilution of voting rights. I wonder if the President can take action based on the Voting Rights Act?

Anyone against voter ID has bought into bullshite or wants the fraud.

The average citizen who is against voter ID is brainwashed by the powers-that-be who want to maintain their station. The brainwashing didn’t happen overnight. Look at how long so many elected officials have been in office.

Based on polling only half of congress, illegals, and invalids don't want voter ID.

Voter ID? I am onboard.
But there is really nothing we can do about states, like California, who made vote farming legal.
Also, how is voter ID going to handle mail-ins? Used to be that was reserved for anyone abroad. Now, anyone can do it and that alone opened up many avenues for fraud.

Because they want to win elections. There’s no other plausible explanation

The act aims to prohibit "universal" mail-in voting—the practice where states (like Colorado, Oregon, or Utah) automatically send a ballot to every registered voter.
The Change: Voters would be required to proactively request a mail-in ballot for every election,

They are a socialist democrat or communist and have daddy issues.

The vast majority do.It's just the cheaters that don't want it.

Dems don't want voter ID because it would make their cheating harder.
Ballots should also have at least the security of a $100 bill.
Registrations should be randomly tested for actual residency to make sure they aren't phantoms, no-citizens and people who have moved out of state purged from the lists.

Only one vote will be allowed per voter ID number....no more ballot stuffing, no more unverified ballots, and no more cheating! Mail ballots will be protected as well.

Democrat politicians say they are vehemently opposed to voter-ID. Republican politicians say they are fully-supportive of voter-ID. The US population sits at an overwhelming 82% favorability rating for voter ID. Congress manages to always find a way not to codify the will of the people in a literal >80/20 issue.
Put that all together, and it tells you what you need to know.

Dems are losing legit voters. Not having children like MAGA. Need no ID for fraud. Everyone is aware except white Karens. They believe racism. Know one.

The GOP is drinking the swamp water and failing to represent the will of the people.

Because they are Democrats. And Democrats win by cheating.

adding an administrative step that could lead to lower participation for those who rely on the automatic system.
participation seems a little too easy when there is 100 percent turn out of all the 607 voters who live in that apartment on 1234 main street.

30 years now, since the Establishment Uniparty Swamp became fully entrenched. Coincidentally, exactly 30 years ago was also the last time that US Congress passed an actual, balanced budget that followed the guidelines mandated by the Constitution (instead of corcumventing it) and wasn't an omnibus or continuing resolution.
There's a coincidence, for ya.

The national GOP doesn't want to fix this because they want the Dems to be able to cheat so they can always win. The GOP wants to be the party of opposition as often as possible.
