Virginia communists going after VMI now

There are bills pending to dissolve the governing Board of Visitors, move the school under the control of some HBCU, and launch a witch hunt to determine if enough has been done to eradicate "lost cause" ideology. If these are passed it will destroy VMI. The Dept. of War is looking into this as VMI is a senior military college.

So they want to destroy the school that produced the only professional soldier to win the Nobel Peace Prize!

Northern Virginia should just merge with MD as a state. Outside of NOVA and Charlottesville, Virginia is just as red as KY and TN.

Here in Louisiana, we just want to get rid of some actually failing institutions, and in Virginia they are try to kill off a successful one.
Graduation rates:
VMI 76 percent
Grambling: 32 percent
Southern - New Orleans 19 percent
Virginia State (an HBCU who they want to put in charge of VMI): 41 percent

I don’t see how rural Virginia will stay aligned with Nova or Richmond. I really think we could eventually see a push towards secession then merging to other states. I live about an hour from Lee County, VA. Southwest VA is deep red as it gets. There is zero commonality between that area of the state and somewhere like Fairfax County.
