Agree. Needs to be an age limit on President, Vice President, Congress and Supreme Court. 75 years old would be good...but hell...at least upon turning 80 they should be forced to go home. Don't care if they're in the middle of a term, beginning, whatever.

But upon his 80th Birthday, his shite should be packed up and carried out of the Congressional offices. Louisiana can hold a special election.

It is a conundrum.
-age doesn't affect everyone the same, some experience mental capability loss in their 60s, some are solid into their 90s.
-going younger could cost wisdom
-sticking with older means that a young foreign leader could outthink your old leader.

Both parties are equally guilty of this. It’s pretty disgusting how these career politicians cling to power even though they’re completely ineffective in their positions.

Grassley is still mentally sharp.
WE have two 80's something judges in my district. Both are sharp mentally. One handled the Goon Squad case. Did just fine and that was pretty high profile.

Isn’t it funny how most Americans agree on this yet we can’t affect change here? That’s an overwhelming majority that think there needs to be age limits but there are not. So… what’s really going on in this democratic republic of ours?

A Constitutional Convention of the States will bring the power back to the States through the changes authorized by the states. Frig' these people who "live" in DC as politicians who no longer serve the people.

The main issue is the Senate. They need to be returned to the states. The state legislature should get their power back.

I do agree completely the Senators of each state should be elected by their respective state houses.
Right now, both DC house and senate members are being funded by the very same lobbying groups.
