Was seen swimming towards the island on Jan. 11.

Plans are in place to safely trap and relocate this little baw before he decimates the local cormorant population

quote:

The evidence is all around us: A trail of paw prints in the sand. A couple of droppings here and there. The carcass of a bird that, by at least one assessment, looks as if it’s been “picked clean.”

Just put a road runner on the island to keep him busy

Leave it. Cormorants destroy the salmon runs.

Salmon are more important California.

Regardless of what it is. They crush on outgoing smolts which is the future runs of salmon.

Why didn't he freeze to death?

Why didn't the current take him out into the ocean?

Isn't that what we are supposed to believe happened to the 3 escapees?

And let the damn coyote eat all the birds he wants on that island. He worked hard to get all the way over there and have free range to all this prey.
