Lets just add Alberta and cut off the rest of Canada

For years now, Canada has been getting further from the US and closer to China and the WEF. This is a true national security issue for the US. This mineral issue could turn into a military issue.
F-35 issue could also be of national security importance. If Canada were to let the Chinese have or inspect the F-35's over there, that could be a serious problem, demanding a serious response.
This new Canadian government seems intent on provoking a significant reaction from the US.

The reality is Canada would get a neutered version of anything we are actually integrating within the 35.
The other cold hard fact is people in our government already gave China anything the would want to know with a platform as old as the 35.
People are corrupt and treason is easier to engage in now than ever. Not sure that’s fixable

frick Canada. They are going to hug up to the Chinese because their crazy left wing leader has the worst case of TDS since the cows on the View. The Gripen is a good lightweight fighter but the F-35 would blow it out of the water air and head for home before the Gripen ever knew what happened.

The Canucks are getting too big for their britches.
It does seem like Carney and his WEF ilk are dead set on being a vassal state for China. Stupid for many reasons, but most urgently because they don't seem to understand that a US with sane leadership will not continue to be their economic and military big bro as they transition to CCP control.
Why on earth would we do that? We would be wiser to play hardball and hopefully inspire political change there. Why on earth would we continue to protect them as they move closer to our primary adversary?
One final thought on the F35s: Maybe they don't want ours anymore because they think they'll have eventually access to 5th gen fighters from China?

We were already treating them like an adversary and now we wonder why they respond in kind?

Well, they won't need to buy our planes if we just take the place over will they?

TDS is so strong with Canada they ceded to the global marxist just to spite Trump.

Try to keep in mind that when we sell these or anything for that matter, they're not getting the top of line, limited edition model. They're getting bare bones, air frames. It's on them to out-rig what they want inside.

Sounds fine.
When we take Alberta they won't have f-35s to fight us with.
