Driving to the basket works up until a point.

Won’t happen bruh. He is what he is. Anybody who still thinks we should keep him and build around him is insane.

He not a difference maker or an all star. Trade value goes down each year. Need to get rid of him. Get over it. Pelicans have limited talent and limited picks. Can’t bill a winner with what there.

I've been saying this since his rookie year. He would be unstoppable if hewould just add the threat of a mid range jumper to his game. The way he plays, I would never guard him on the perimeter until he proves his willing and capable of hitting a jump shot consistently.

He’s had years to do this and still doesn’t.

His career is limited at this point.

Who's got more game...more in his bag?

Herb or Zion?
Trey or Zion?
Bey or Zion?
BI or Zion?
JHart or Zion?

..and as preposterous as it might seem...

Queen or Zion?

Just Askin'

But I can confidently say this: Every player I compared Zion to in this post is more marketable than 'Charmin' Williamson.

I think if Zion starts shooting, maybe getting 2-3ppg more, we're definitely a playoff team.

If he can hit 3-5 more pull up jumpers per game, it would open up the lane and he’d be what we all thought he could be.

Of course, he has zero leadership or reliability at this pt, but he is obviously talented.

Keep dreaming. He just refuses to take them. It's there all game. He coasted on his athleticism for far too long and now he can't get past the mental block.

This is where Queen willingness to take jump shots from anywhere on the court at this stage has me confident in his development as a 3 level scorer.

Zion will always be a 1 level scorer with a tease of a jump shot. That's a mentality he's always had and will continue. He just can't see the big picture and relies on what is safe for him.

I wish people stop saying that. What other 6 foot 5 inche player that can’t shoot, do we give so much praise to. What else does he do besides a 2 foot shot or closer.

Fans and media keep hyping him up, instead of calling him out when healthy. He doesn’t have multiple tools, yet this franchise is making him a centerpiece

All teams have to do is deny him his left hand with a rim protector and then they can close down on him with another defender so he either gets blocked or loses the ball.

It’s painful cause Zion has the skill set to be an absolute all timer. Sadly he is soft and it is obviously never happening. It is definitely time for a divorce, would be best for both parties at this point.

You’re right. I meant he had* said skill set. I’m talking about 18 year old Zion, he had unlimited potential.

Zion has to get off the team.

The truth of Zion’s production is for most of a game teams are fine trading a Zion 2 point attempt at the rim for a 5 on 4 largely open 3 point look at the other end because Zion is on the ground or just not getting back in time to play defense.

And at the end of a contested game the opposing team suddenly contests Zion’s literal one trick and the Pels watch the game slip away.

Rest assured, the minute he suits up for a different team, you'll see him start adding a mid-range and 3 to his bag.
