Am I the only one that religiously uses an air purifier?

I got one a few years ago for allergy issues and to help eliminate pet odors and it has been one of my favorite home items. Not only that but I have noticed the better air quality has resulted in lower stress and better sleep. The only con with it is I have noticed my energy bill spike and the filter replacements add up but it's still worth it.

How bad was the spike you mentioned?

So you use your air purifier to judge me?

I have a small one that stays on 24/7 in my kitchen
I can’t stand my house to smell like food

Is that adjustment for daily/nightly use?

Nightly use. I don't use every night to save money on my energy bill but I do use it often. Also filter changing on the ones I got is expensive too so that adds up. I don't clean the filters, I replace them completely b/c I believe it's safer. Overall still a worth while investment but it is costly considering I have multiple

Impeccable post timing.
Wife has house full of them on max speed.
Why? Exterminator service today and will undoubtedly kill every insect within 5 mile radius as so much was sprayed.
Anticipating in few months having grown 2nd head, dead or both…c’mon air purifiers.
Not even sure they work for this.

To me no home is complete without a 4-legged best friend. You will notice an immediate difference

I got two running, mainly to cut some of the dust in the house. I run them 24/7, not sure about power use but it’s just a fan so I didn’t think it would be noticeable. Monthly electricity bill is already high AF, so what’s a few more KW’s

I use one for the white noise

I have one that I use pretty regularly but I don't change the filter as often as I should

I use mine pretty religiously. Not sure how much it tacks onto the energy bill though.

If you think your house is clean, put an air purifier in your bedroom for a few weeks and you'll see just how much dust, dander, and other crap you're breathing in while you sleep.

I have a few in my house because my wife has pet parrots and they have very sensitive lungs and also make a ton of dandruff/feather dust. We go through a lot of filters due to the dandruff but it saves my A/C filters somewhat.

I run one at night in my bedroom on high. I like the noise it makes.
