"No one is illegal on stolen land.” The dumbest statement of the year so far.

We’ve got 11 months left in 2026 so I’m sure another one of these clueless single celled morons will have even more epic BS statements to espouse throughout the rest of the year.
A brief cursory glance at this totally uniformed brain dead statement shows you the absurdity of it.
‘It is slogan over thought, a bumper-sticker type statement masquerading as moral philosophy.
It collapses legal categories, ignores history, and totally ignores the existence of sovereignty, borders, and law.
This is like a freshman dorm-room rant delivered at 2 a.m. after half-reading a tweet.
If you were to take this stupid fricking statement seriously, it renders every nation illegitimate, every law void, and every right unenforceable, which means Billie either hasn’t followed the idea to its logical conclusion or doesn’t care that it detonates the moral framework she pretends to stand on. This is not radical insight, it’s conceptual bullshite intended for applause-baiting sanctimony.
While we’re at it, the audience reaction was worse.
Watching a roomful of adults leap to their feet and clap like trained seals for a sentence that dissolves under ten seconds of scrutiny was a masterclass in collective phony virtue signaling.
No pause. No reflection. Just instant, euphoric affirmation, because the statement sounded virtuous, and sounding virtuous now apparently counts as thinking.
This was not moral courage.
The applause signaled not agreement with a reasoned argument, but submission to a vibe, an eagerness to be seen clapping for the “right” words regardless of whether those words mean anything at all.
When people cheer something like that without stopping to think about what it actually means, they’re not being compassionate, they’re just not thinking at all.
The applause isn’t about understanding or principle, it’s about feeling good in the moment and being on the “right” side, whether the statement makes sense or not.’

It's not about the land.
It's about freedom of association and from association.

Someone posted something this morning that was pretty profound...
How can you say there are no such thing as borders and also say the land was stolen?

So is Russia right for trying to take back Ukraine or no?

JUST IN: The Tongva tribe — whose ancestral land Billie Eilish's multi-million-dollar Los Angeles mansion sits on — confirmed she has not contacted them about returning the “stolen land.”
A spokesperson for the Tongva tribe told The Daily Mail: “‘As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land,’ they stated, adding that the A-lister has not reached out to the tribe herself.”
“‘Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, we do value the instance when Public Figures provide visibility to the true history of this country,’ the spokesperson continued.”

It makes me irrationally angry every time I hear this. It is the epitome of ignoring history, facts, word definitions, and virtue signaling.
The US is "stolen land" in so much as any country/political entity in the history of humankind has "stolen land," including the Native Americans themselves. Has the world moved passed conquest and empire building, probably, but that doesn't mean that the land that was gained from it is stolen, it was conquered and obtained. At least the looney libs who use "colonizer" as an insult are more factually accurate.
People are either in the US legally or illegally, with only a very few gray areas that are well beyond these jackasses legal technical skills allow them to differentiate.

This is nothing new.
This trope has been regurgitated by the left for decades

This flick has been around for quite some time and shows how the ownership of land changed across Europe over centuries.
The modern leftist seems to think that the battle over land is something unique to the Americas and only white men are responsible for "stealing" it.
Even if we allow this ridiculous argument, it wasn't stolen from Latin Americans who fled their impoverished shiteholes to mow yards and hang drywall in Los Angeles.

There is only one country that has never been colonized. Just one.
Japan.
So, save for Japan, which the US should have taken after WW2, all land in the entire world has been stolen.

So if America is stolen land, will they admit the Muslims taking over Europe is just as bad?
Posted on 2/3/26 at 12:31 pm to Geekboy
I'm guessing you've never been at an event that began with a land acknowledgement?
Talk about cringe.
