Pocket Carry 9mm

Been on the hunt for a micro 9 to conceal, think I'm down to the Smith and Wesson MP and or tiny Canik Mete. Shot many S and W but never shot a Canik, is this a no brainer and I should go Smith and Wesson?

I’ve heard good things about Canik. Maybe try both out if you have a gun store with a range.

Conceal carry - Just my opinion, but I trust my life more with something made in Tennessee, USA before something made in Turkey.
Also, I'm not a big fan of the Armenian genocide carried out by Turkey back in WWI.

Just to throw another option out there. Sig P938.
Single stack 9mm that holds 7+1
I have a Legion and it's the gun I carry the most due to its size. Have a the S&W shield and Sig P365 XL. The shield is a little too big to pocket carry to me. The XL is way too big as well.
The P938 shoots surprisingly easy. Not snappy and very manageable recoil.
And it's a 1911 style pistol, which is by far my favorite.

I bought a H&K CC9 in December. Great shooting gun. The grips fit my hands really well. I'm not sure about it being a pocket gun, but great CC gun.

I carry with my Shield or my G19, but I want a Canik and would not hesitate one bit to carry one. I vote Canik.

I traded my Canik METE MC9, it wouldn't feed ball ammo even after sending it in. Got a Shield + Carry Comp, love it. Carry it IWB appendix. Canik now has ported models, they get good reviews. My Shield + PC has a fantastic trigger, better than the METE was.
But I think you want the Bodyguard .380 for true pocket carry. The Shield + with the flush fit mag (the small one) is hard to shoot with your pinky hanging off.

P365 is pocket-able and doesnt print too bad. Easy choice IMO

P290 is my pocket gun. It’s not very much fun to shoot, but it fit nicely in my pocket with an Uncle Mike’s holster

Find a used Rohrbaugh 9mm. Smallest 9mm ever made I believe. My dad has one. He pocket carries it everyday.

I bet that is a snappy little thing.

It’s not a range toy for sure.

"pocket" is relative of course. I have a Kel-Tec P11 that disappears easily into a light jacket pocket, but pants pocket - forget it. It would technically fit but heavy enough to sag in loose pants or print in jeans. It still conceals easily in the waistband of summer shorts wearing a belt, but the topic here is "pocket".
What does disappear completely, even in shorts, is a Ruger LCP. It's so small, flat, and light that it's a legitimate concern that you could forget you even have it on you when entering a school or some other prohibited location.

I have a Kimber micro 9 that I love to cc. Cabelas runs them on sale about twice a year. Next time they are on sale I’ll pick up another one.
