I honestly think he believes he’s the Louisiana Trump. He just doesn’t realize he’s nowhere near as smart, charismatic, or well liked.
Trumps' approval is 39, disapproval 57, so he's probably liked even more than Trump in this state. Landry says things that people thing "feels right" and that's the secret of truthiness.

the 1040 was never intended to be a welfare application. If you fill out the form correctly, not only do you receive a full tax refund, you can receive thousands that you never contributed.
It was intended to be progressive in that people with less income pay less percentage of tax. You only get refund for paxes paid.

Do you propose some type of worthiness tax that determines which income should be progressive and which should not? And what should the rate be for SSI payments (like disability)? Easier would be reduce the payments if you have heartache with it.

I get it, you don't like people getting free stuff. No different from any reduction in taxes for rich people tho practically.
yeah, we're definitely going to balance the budget on poor people.
Normally it handles the credentialing process. But when Herr Trump wants to decide, he does it himself.
We probably don't have the resurces to deport him because we're doing "mass deportations" (we really aren't, we're just talking about it to make the base happy). Note that these are the people Biden & Obama prioritized for deportation post-conviction and incarceration. R's made this an issue ("we're not deporting everbody, why do D's hate America?")

People think deportation is just a cop puts a guy on a bus, but that's not how it works. Until the system is enlarged (by a factor of 100) we aren't deporting large numbers of anyone.

Please don't act like there is any significant opposition to deporting people like this. Let's also not act like this is a representative problem. Should we deport pastors since they seem to like screwing teens?

If Shield plus is too large, people need to stop reccemending guns that are that size, which basically is all micro 9's.

Pretty sure the Bodygurd 2 is the current Gold Standard for .380s, tho I have not shot one.

so what's the violation? They should be citing the violation, if not dispute it via the method they give..

re: Do/Did you spank your kids?

No. We fricked up our kids up in other ways.

People who were whipped as kids act like it made them act right. You know it didn't. We all just lied about what we did.
Are they going to change the cards from fluorescent orange since obviously everyone can tell it's being used when people are buying their turduckens?

Same situation as Rocco Spindler transfer from ND. Both players are likely 2nd string on Spring depth chart next year behind OL returning from injury. Both are very talented with NFL future (later round) and likely looking to be guaranteed starter. Coogan in particular was a leader on team (pre-game speeches to team, etc).

Get out with your well-reasoned response.
hose bibs are always the 1st thing to freeze - it's a branch going to the outside.

So have you read the covenant to make sure they can actually do this?

People hate HOA's but then they hate it when 30 Mexicans move in next door, too.

Jesus said "If a man asks for your jacket, ask him where the F he was born."

I think that's in the Lee Greenwood bible.
My opinion, not being a LA Bar member, is that the only way to determine an actual definition of a particular waterway being "navigable" is through the courts. I've looked this up before and it just devolves into legalese, which means you can fight it if you have the means to. Louisiana is particular here, and our oddball laws don't help. Our definition is not the same as the Coast Guard's.

Certainly, putting up a sign declaring water to be closed does not mean it really is. Nor does declaring water to be open make it so.

Until someone gets a court to decide that Bumblebee Bayou is public, the issue is unsettled.
