The “I’m a US citizen” comment is the new “you’re a racist.”
It doesn’t mean anything in this context. If I robbed a store and they pulled me over and I refused to get out of the car, I can’t just say I’m a US citizen and they be like oh well and just go away

These people are told to commit crimes by dem leaders, are allowed to do so without consequence for years, and then when they are forced to reap what they sew, not only are they absolutely shocked, the folks that convinced them their actions were cool could not care less about their fate.
