BREAKING??: Another Squad member EXPOSED for getting filthy rich in DC!

When Ayanna Pressley entered Congress in 2019, she had a negative net worth (around -$12k). Fast-forward just 6 years: her latest disclosure shows up to $8 MILLION in assets — including four rental properties and big income from her husband's consulting gig.

All while pulling a $174,000 taxpayer-funded salary.

Impressive? Or just another swamp creature cashing in on America while preaching "equity" and rent relief?

That's a 66,766% increase. Which, is basically the exact same increase that Ilhan Omar saw.

I'm guessing they're involved in the exact same schemes.

Neither. She didn't have good financial habits before entering congress, and then when she did get into congress (probably because she didn't have good financial role models growing up or before entering congress), she found good mentors who taught her how to have good financial habits. That's all that has happened.

The husband’s consulting/speaking gig sounds slimy AF, very similar to how Clintons, Obama’s, etc have made money

Somewhat related, but how does the anti-capitalist crowd reconcile government officials amassing great wealth out of thin air like this?

Are these “rich” people evil too?

And she will face no consequences because the ones who would be judging her for her actions are performing the same activities and are getting rich doing it as well.
It is a free-for-all now looting the American taxpayers

Somerville, MA is a hotbed of communistic revolution. I still get texts from their politicians (despite never enrolling) and it is truly pathetic what they support and run on.

National divorce is tough, but letting the north east go would be a logical start.

I thought these people said $174,000 was barely enough to maintain a part time place in DC for when they need to be there to do their jobs.

So how are they getting outsized returns on what should be miniscule investment capacity?

They almost all get filthy rich.

“Elected public servant” in D.C. has proved an extremely lucrative gig.

Entire system has been bastardized and turned into a big freakin joke.

Unfortunately, the joke is ultimately on us regular schlubs out here who support it through our taxes.

If these people aren’t held accountable by Trump then I’ll probably run for office and join the grift.

Why not? No sense in working my arse off playing by the rules to eke out a living and staying stressed all the time. Not when our justice system is a joke and our national debt will lead to complete financial collapse at some point ruining mine and everyone else’s life who played by the rules.

Get in office a few years, steal 10-20 million, and retire to Costa Rica and watch the nation I once loved burn to the ground. If you can’t beat them join em I guess

I’m not surprised. Did she break any laws?

I keep reading this stuff but it means nothing.

Lop off CA, OR, and WA while we are at it.
That would solve about 80-90% of our problems.

And next year her net worth will be $10m. The next year it will be $11m. BFD. Talk to me when there’s an indictment and a conviction.
