I've read several lately that are saying they support deportation but only after they've had their due process in US courts - that is a lie of course - but their strong protestations are about the strong arm tactics of ICE.

They don't understand that we are at war, and war is never pretty.

If only 1% of illegals are voting and there's 10-20 million illegals in the US that's still 100-200k illegal votes. A lot of these federal elections have margins of victory in certain precincts less than .1%

Here's something that will piss you off. Over the past 25 years Chinese citizens have given birth to an estimated 2 million children while in the US, those children are US citizens even though many live and are raised in China. According to China's laws, at age 18 US born Chinese must make a choice and declare whether they are US or Chinese citizens.

At age 18 if they chose US citizenship they can come to the US and register to vote, when elections are being won and lost by less than 100k votes having few hundred thousand Chinese voting in US elections is significant.

This ^^^ is why birthright citizenship should be illegal.
