It was like that when I was student minus any Asians or Hispanics.
None of the top tier smart kids joined these programs because they played sports.

Yeah a bunch of foreign nerdy kids being on a debate team is about as predictable as the sunrise.
When the football teams are mostly Asian kids then I’ll be concerned. American kids aren’t interested in stuff like this.

Some of these Texas schools are how majority Asian. Not just the debate team.

Makes sense. Asian and Indian families focus more on academics. American families think it’s ok to be stupid as long as you’re good in a sport.
