So, does Miami or Indiana lose any players to the portal?

I’m not in the donors pockets but I have to imagine if we get Seaton and Umamielen, we’re probably tapped for this cycle.

Indiana likely won’t lose many to the portal but will lose a ton to eligibility. It’s a team full of covid super seniors

A. Mendoza already entered... guess since bro ain't gonna be there next year, he doesn't want that smoke of having to live up to what his brother accomplished... i don't blame him

I don’t think we have many spots left for big time names. Or expensive names at least. Anyone else we bring in after the Prince and Seaton are probably going to be depth guys.

In my humble opinion at least. No point in doubting Lane though

Not me...where would he go? Texas? UF? UGA?

Let him stay in Miami.

people keep saying things like this not realizing that Miami's roster was almost as old as Indiana's.

Miami - 23 seniors, redshirt seniors, 5th year seniors, 6th year seniors, grad students, 16 juniors/ redshirt juniors
Indiana - 26 of the senior varieties, 18 juniors/redshirt juniors

I think I read where collectively Miami's roster was like 6 months younger than Indiana's. It isn't like Indiana was playing against a roster full of 18-20 year olds.

Indiana has 16 of their regular 22 starters in their 4th-year or 5th-year college season, including 6th-year players, creating a team of adults with significant experience. Avg age 24 yo, same avg age as NFL. They rely heavily on transfer portal, so far unable to successfully recruit HS players past 3 years since Cignetti arrived. Give him credit, he has done a great job taking them to the next level last year and this year.
