Nah, no new champions. Miami will be way less annoying and the Indiana idiots who say they’re the best team ever look stupid.

Through Christ all things are possible… including a Hoosier national championship

The crazy thing is that he doesn't even seem the least bit disingenuous. Hard not to root for him.

Mendoza is a breath of fresh air in the modern day. Enthusiastic, authentic, and just a good dude. Hope the Hoosiers pull it off

I don’t get it… the Lord will appreciate the trophy In your house just as much as he would it being in a church

Better person than Carson Beck and his trashy porn star

This is a take

So because he’s a catholic, he deserves some special support?
Some of you probably think God picks the winners in sporting events too because an athlete thanks God for him winning.

I’ve lived long enough to know not to take certain personas at face value

And there it is. The segment of the college football fanbase that wants the same 10 teams playing for a national championship every year. They hate the Indianas and Texas Techs of the college football landscape, a landscape THEY (or their favorite program and coaches) helped create.

That segment of the CFB fanbase includes the sports media. Several personalities have flat-out admitted they're rooting for Miami. The nihilist in me believes the fix will be in.

Out of the 10 or so national CFB figures i listen to, only Chris Falica (the "Bear") picked Miami to win. And he went to Miami.

How old are you?
As soon as Miami beat Ole Miss, I saw Miami swag break out en masse for the first time here in Georgia in over 20 years.

Being a Catholic doesn’t automatically make someone a good person. A lot of people use “Catholic” and “Christian” as labels to gain unearned respect from other people.
But in this case, I’d say Mendoza is a good person based on the way he treats other people.

Why not?
Indiana has never won a NC in football, I like the storyline tonight.

Miami has won more than their share. It's Indiana's time.
