I literally want to take my wife’s butcher knife and stab myself in the thigh repeatedly.

Had a knee replacement in November. I was told that this could be an issue while healing, but I had it before the surgery and I have it now. It’s weird and borderline soul crushing.

It is more common than you would think. I have it to a slight degree, but thankfully mine doesn’t keep me from sleeping. I have seen it listed as a side effect from some medications and have also heard kidney problems cause it sometimes.

I have a friend that has it terribly bad and the only thing that gives him enough relief to get any sleep at all is a weed gummy at bedtime. He just uses a razor blade to slice a fraction of one every night and that allows him to get some rest.

It sucks. I get RLS often and the only thing I’ve found that works is marijuana. I usually smoke a bit before bed but, if I don’t, I keep a little weed vape pen on my nightstand in case my leg(s) decide to act up. Just a little toke is enough to put my legs completely at rest. It works amazingly fast and works 100% if the time. You really don’t even need to get “high”, just one puff will cure you instantly.

I prefer inhaling for RLS because it’s so fast-acting. Gummies take 30-60 minutes to hit your brain.

I usually soak in a tub of warm to hot water and it goes away for me.

As another said, get tested for sleep apnea

I had it so bad weed gummies were the only thing that could get me to stay asleep.

Couldn't figure out why I was still exhausted after sleeping hard on weed gummies. Turns out they kept me asleep but made the sleep apnea worse.

I've had it for years and

is the only thing I've ever found that helps. Otherwise I feel like running a fricking marathon laying in bed.

This can get me from time to time. For me, it’s a mental game. Sometimes I’ll get on my phone for 20 min and get my mind off of it, or get up and have a snack.

This is your friend. Be patient and give it a few nights to really start working. Also, be ready for a BM when you wake up.

Seriously, this will help with RLS and you will sleep better.
