Dilbert creator Scott Adams has passed away aged 68 following a battle with prostate cancer.
The famed cartoonist and podcaster had been placed in hospice care last week, and his ex-wife Shelly Miles broke the news of his passing on his popular podcast, 'Real Coffee With Scott Adams' on Tuesday.
Miles said Adams was 'no longer with us', and broke down in tears as she read a final message Adams wrote before he passed away.

Shaka, when the walls fell.
He had an amazing mind.
This sucks so much.
5 years ago I watched Rush fade away from cancer and now this.

Dilbert brought me many hours of entertainment, over a period of more years than I care to think about.
Scott will be missed.

He was so courageous in the face of it all.

Sorry, this is a repeat from the other thread but posting it again here because it really is something that all men need to be reminded about so that they don't die unnecessarily and leave their loved ones.
Men, please pay attention to your PSA and get screened for prostate cancer. It is very treatable if you catch it early and the treatment options are expanding and getting better all the time. But once it has spread too far it cannot be cured...pretty much just managed. Assuming no other health problems, looks like he would have lived a lot longer...the prostate cancer probably would not be fatal if he would have caught it earlier.

R.I.P.
I've never worked in an office that didn't have some Dilbert cartoons posted somewhere.

I figured his time was short when he went palliative.
Vaya con Dios.

The term “influencer” is over used today, but Adams was a true influencer. He was a thoughtful and insightful man who engaged and influenced an enormous number of people around the world.

Goodbye Mr. Adams, thank you for the laughs.
Your cartoons got so much funnier once I got into the corporate world and could understand them.

I’m not looking forward to the inevitable flop that will be ‘The Dilbert Movie’

Miles said that Adams had decided to become a Christian in his final moments, even as he admitted he still saw himself as an atheist.
'Next, many of my Christian friends have asked me to find Jesus before I go,' Miles said as she read Adams' letter. 'I am not a believer, but I have to admit the risk reward calculation for doing so looks so attractive to me.
Not sure how this is going to work out for him

Well, I'll admit it's a question close to me, personally. Because I'm probably on the flip side of it.
Meaning my thoughts are: "Hopefully this is real, but what if it's not?" And I often wonder if my doubts will be held against me.
Scott's "I don't believe this is real, but hopefully it is" seems like the inverse of my thoughts. But if he can receive grace with that mindset, then maybe I can too someday.
I didn't mean to sound condescending when I posted that. It was a genuine question. Perhaps selfish, since I was thinking of myself at this time as well.

Scott I can’t wait to meet you on the other side. You’ve been a treasure. Rest in peace
