"american workers just don't want to work anymore"

If true, terrible and awful, but can that website be trusted? Nowadays you get a lot of garbage on the internet, would love to see more.
It doesn't even say what company it is. It just sneakily says "diversity initiative" in that corner up top but for who? Ford Motor Company? Colgate Palmolive? A law firm?

It clearly says Facebook on the memo.
Doesn't mean it's real but I wouldn't doubt it, especially in 2020.

I'd doubt it. Not as if that stuff wasn't going on back then, but because that looks like a typical, rage-bait Twitter account with the nonsense handle and random words in all caps everywhere.

Agreed. I don’t doubt that it’s true but have a hard time accepting Big Neon Cat as a reputable news source.

So, it’s awful but not sure it’s true? In other words, if CNN and the other liberal mouthpieces don’t mention it, it must not be happening?

Not my fault. I don't use Meta products.

Do you actually believe that it is?
This is just a standard hiring guideline memo for a company implementing DEI.
Can you just state unequivocally that DEI is “terrible”?
Because this is just DEI in practice and something many here, myself included have seen implemented or in my case had to abide by until I left my previous employer.

I can understand why they want Korean workers. I have a couple Korean ex pats that work for me and they’re the best employees I’ve ever had.

not really.
May regret this, but will attempt to converse.
Going from "not sure it's true" to "it must not be happening" is by any reasonable comprehension, a helluva leap.

1st page looks real, that place really is a shitehole, even now.
2nd page is definitely doctored, and badly. Some of the numbers are mis-sized.

In my last ten years of working experience, one company had an Indian take over as president 3 years before I left, and both offshoring and H1B use drastically increased (barely out of the top 10 in H1B users in the US.) The second company is an Indian conglomerate that is in the top 5 of H1B employers in the US, and actively puts non H1B workers on the bench (meaning you're almost certainly on your way out) far easier than H1Bs.
They pass this off as a diversity initiative, but it's just about how much the workers cost. Not many H1Bs at the Indian conglomerate make more than $70k a year, even with 15 years of experience (a non H1b should be around $150k in the same job.) They're used to replace non H1Bs that make 2-3 times that, even if efficiency and quality massively suffers.
H1Bs, since they're under threat of being sent back to India, will routinely work 13 hour days, 5 days a week. They will endure being told to move from Michigan to Texas with two weeks' notice with a new born. In my exit interview from my last client, the Indian (used to managing almost exclusively H1Bs) brought up how I missed a "team dinner" because (and I'd told him exactly why prior) it was one of my custody days with my kids.

I work with some H1B professionals. Most of them I work with wouldn’t put out something like that. In fact, I’d say majority are good to work with.
Yes, some act like entitled assholes. I tend to ignore them.

Just quoting OP to point out they refused to agree that DEI was horrible.

You fricking moron. That wasn't written BY H1b workers. It was written by goddamn white women in HR about hiring more H1B workers in violation of federal law.
Look at Lori Goler and Janelle Gale. That's who was running HR at Meta back then.
