Trinidad Chambliss...Waiver or no waiver, I think the kid should go ahead and just go pro.

He has been outstanding and clearly the best quarterback during this playoff. You could argue he has more to lose than to gain with a brand new coaching staff and offense to learn next season.

Agreed he's a baller and fun to watch. I'd root for him on any team in the NFL (still f Ole Piss)

It's sad to say, but if he went to the NFL, he'd probably be taking a pay cut.

His stock will never be higher, and next years QB class is absolutely loaded (especially if Dante Moore stays).

He’s played himself into late 1st/2nd round pick territory

I agree. He's at the apex of his value right now. Huge performances on the biggest stages and a relatively weak QB class. If he wants to be a professional QB, he won't ever have a better draft value.

Yea if he can slip into the first round, he has to go.
Mendoza and Simpson are the only first round QBs as of now.
I think chambliss could pass Simpson with a good combine and whatnot.
He absolutely should go if Moore returns tomorrow which seems to be the thought as of now.

He seems to be a good guy to. I’ve watched a few interviews with him in the postseason, and I understand what Kiffin saw in him.

I think someone might take him middle/late 1st round. I think he'd be kind of like Dart, not a top 10 pick, but not a 5th rounder either. His stock might not ever be this high again.

Agree. He needs to strike while the iron is hot. His stock will never be this high again

Hopefully he does. He's given a lot of good defenses fits all year.

Ole Miss' season will sway heavily on whether or not they get him back next year... like a 4-6 win difference IMO regardless of who replaces him.

With the draft QBs being such a weak one this year he should 100% go to the draft. That would be the correct move.

His last two games on the big stage have really showed his intangibles. Kid is a gamer and fun to watch. Only knock is his height but I expect that he will get a high grade.

He needs to look at people like Jayden and Jackson. His playing style will lead to injuries. Why spend another year in college taking tread off of the tires?

You can't tell me this kid didn't have his "arm twisted" or a shady agent to agree to this OM "deal."

He's peaked this year, his draft stock will never be higher, this is when he should go pro.

Would he make more this year in College, probably. But that's short sighted, as a low first round draft slot would be more money long term, most likely.

Someone at OM leaned on these kids after they got lucky and won against Georgia.

He's probably getting more money than a 1st and 2nd rounder right now at Ole Miss based on the 4 million+ figure. He has every incentive to return if they grant him another year.

He’ll also be one year closer to the second NFL contract, that is where the big money starts.

This.

The 5.5 mil he COULD get to head to LSU is less than only the top 7 draft picks last year. And if he takes another step up at LSU, maybe Heisman, who knows, he could improve his draft stock even more and get more NFL $$.

Just because his draft stock is high now, doesnt mean it cant go higher.

Come back to LSU and make more $ next year, THEN go pro and take the big contract.
