He’ll also be one year closer to the second NFL contract, that is where the big money starts.
I think the fact that hes still trying to get another year of eligibility shows hes not concerned about getting to the NFL $ a year earlier.

There aren’t long term guarantees with 1 year college contracts. He may make less on year 1. But he’s guaranteed 4 years regardless of outcomes or injury.

He has been outstanding and clearly the best quarterback during this playoff. You could argue he has more to lose than to gain with a brand new coaching staff and offense to learn next season.
It hasnt made sense that you aren't hearing about him going pro. The guy can play. He can make all of the throws and moves around well. He doesnt benefit much coming back.

And if he takes another step up at LSU, maybe Heisman, who knows, he could improve his draft stock even more and get more NFL $$
Exactly. Follow the Nussmeier gameplan. Oh wait....

his stock will never be higher.

His stock is probably not going to get any higher. Unlikely Ole Miss makes it as far as they did this year.

But he likely would make more money in college. I just don’t believe he would be taken in top rounds of draft.
