99 9% I just dont see the inherent advantage of whacking him mid-season. If it WAS an advantage, more schools would do it for men's basketball, but it just isnt that common.

If this coach didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have luck at all. He finally gets the PG he never had before, and the kid gets hurt. He has no depth, and they never play consistent defense, especially guarding the 3 point line.

The last time I remember a school firing a basketball coach mid season was Ole Miss when they fired Kermit Davis. Of course, McMahon then lost to them the following game with their interim coach by double digits.

It doesn't make any sense financially to fire him mid-season. You just have to roll with the punches and wait to see what happens after the season is over. But even if they fire him, they'll just hire some other loser like our AD has done 90% of the time. They don't care about MBB.

I hear you guys saying this all the time, but I don't really see that, outside of maybe a couple trolls. Most people realize that he isn't getting it done, it is just many of these same people actually have a life and more emotional intelligence than you and your ilk have. It is really that simple. We know that he is gone at the end of the year. I have serious doubts though that LSU is willing to invest in men's basketball, so I really don't get too worked up over it. I USED to be a basketball junkie...but that was years ago. All baseball and football now.

Last nights loss was absolutely embarrasing, no way should LSU get punked in the first half at HOME like that..ever. Same story different year...Let's move on!
