Burrows "dive" was actually worse than Favre.

Is the sack record so important that the opposing QB has to oblige? Lame.

Al Baker holds the record in my book.

The Burrow hate around here is lame.

It was pretty weak for sure

Don't hate Burrow at all.
But that was bad form.

He did go down at the sound of footsteps. I also thought it was suspicious.

I mean Garrett definitely had a decent hold of him. In an alternative world he doesn’t go down and tries his hardest to break away and tears up his knee? Or reinjure his foot, which was hurt trying to escape that exact sort of sack.
It was meaningless game at the end of the season. Ultimately better for him and his team to just go down instead of risk injury. Why should he risk injury just to try to stop Garrett from getting a fairly meaningless record (given it came in an expanded 17 game season)?

His left tackle got beat immediately and he protected the ball from a fumble. What the hell is wrong with you guys?

I think you need to go rewatch the Favre play. Favre never even looks down field to throw and intentionally runs backwards in Strahan's direction. He even reportedly audibled into the call to send his protection in the other direction and then ran right at Strahan. And then got up and went celebrate with him and started high fiving the giants players too like he was on their team or something.

What’s the point of records if they’re gotten like this?
Wish Joe hadn’t played along. Doesn’t belong with Strahan and Watt.

The tackle barely tried to block and Joe slid down right away
Then claimed he didn’t remember the protection on that particular play.
I liked Chase’s annoyance at stopping the game, should have been a 15-yard penalty.

The burrow hate is all a troll by other sec fans. Very weak attempts.

Not worse that Favre, but goes in line with the new soft football of the last few years.
Posted on 1/5/26 at 7:53 am to Vandergriff
Not even close. Consecutive naked boot legs to Strahan’s side and a jog into a slide was WAY worse.

Exact same thing I thought. I've watched a decent amount of Burrow and never seen him go down like that without being touched. Soft.
I am curious how that gets planned though. Do they actually talk about it...as in "let him through I'm gonna take a dive on the left behind you"?
