They're celebrating the removal of the installed dictator Maduro.

Does that not give you TDS'ers a clue? (And no, this wasn't even really about regime change on America's part).

Apparently the opinions of the day to day sufferers of communism don't matter if Orange Man is Bad about it.

They’re pretending to be principled. They could defend Biden doing the same thing or, at least, pretend it’s not a big deal. But their TDS is really inescapable.

Large population centers of Venezuelans across the globe are celebrating.

Only people upset are democrats.

I was talking off line with Roger and he said he couldn’t hardly wait until Monday’s episode of The View so he can tell us how he “feels” about it.

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm hearing that America didn't suffer a single casualty. This wasn't the invasion of Iraq. It was more like a well-planned. precise raid on an entity engaged in illegal activity (Which, Maduro and pals are guilty of doing).

It was really beautiful the way it was carried out. DOW Hegseth and others deserve much credit.

The Monroe Doctrine is alive and well!

I don't keep up with it all because it's not my country.

I generally oppose these things for that same reason and this isn't much of an exception. However, it ranks very low in terms of being something that would upset me considering the small scale.

This is way more acceptable than just bombing boats.

Maybe they'll get someone like Milei.

A clue as to what?

That "Maduro Gone" is a good thing, and that Venezuelans are generally pleased? Of course.

It provides ... somewhat less ... clarity as to whether our actions were consistent with international law.

This forum seems to be an "ends justify the means" sort of place, at least so long as Trump is in charge. Questioning (or even "examining") those "means" is certainly unpopular here.

So be it.

No, the ~14% TDS afflicted American's wet dream is to have the same type of leader here as Maduro. Someone to keep their politic opponents in jail/camps or preferably in the ground.

Yeah look it would be fascinating but in the end "international" law really hasnt been a thing for awhile in America.

Also. Not one leak!! Not one casualty! We suffer more casualties just in daily training.

Would not surprise me to learn the mausoleum was a drug processing plant in disguise

I was there.

The first couple of months were actually great. Iraqis lined the streets cheering, waving American flags, chanting "USA" and "George Bush" everywhere we went. That part is forgotten now.

Then Paul Bremer made the catastrophic decision to disband the Iraqi military, send hundreds of thousands of armed men home with no pay and no future, and the rest is history.

Maduro was not the elected leader of Venezuela.

Maduro was a wanted criminal in another country

The organization of American states does not recognize Maduro as the leader of Venezuela. They recognize the opposition controlled national assembly as three leader of Venezuela. I'm sure the international recognized leadership odds Venezuela has no problem with Trump arresting Maduro.

So, Trump died not violate any form of international law.

The people of Venezuela are happy.

The democrats are unhappy.

The Chinese are unhappy.

The world is a better place.

I mean the only real losers in this deal are the Canadians because they didn't sign an oil deal with the united states and I'm guessing Venezuela will...

Oh, and the democrats. Because they always lose when good triumphs over evil.
