What’s the real reason for Trump’s fixation on Venezuela?

Woke up to the news, and this is something I’ve always wondered. I can’t believe it’s the narcotics or that Maduro is just a bad guy. Something else is at work for Trump to be doing this. Is it Chinese frickery? The Dominion angle?

I think it’s a few things. Trump hates drugs, but I think it’s also a message to the Chinese to stop screwing around in our hemisphere, and to let the Russians know we’re going to neutralize their buddies.

It's not just the narcotics. It will be forthcoming.

Will be interesting what is said at the presser. I was going to have bloody Mary's this morning....I will hold off until afterwards and listen carefully.

Hopefully, will not be disappointed.

They have hacked our elections for a very long time (from Presidential Elections all the way down to local elections all over our country) - how else do you think these dumb fricking morons keep getting elected in the Democrat party?

Plus Drugs
Plus what they are doing to their citizens

And a few more

A brutal dictator in our hemisphere sitting on the richest reserves of oil in the world whom does the following:

Traffics drugs into our country, killing thousands.

Makes the drug money to fund illicit operations to hurt our country.

Works with Russia, China, and Iran to sabotage and hurt us.

Gives cheap oil to other dictators on our hemisphere.

Jails and kills his own people for any form of dissent.

The strategic piece is shutting down communism in Venezuela. Cuba probably doesn’t have 6 months.

The Muluahs just shat themselves.

Putin will be sleeping with one eye open.

China is saying, “oh our neighbors, Taiwan “?

Venezuela has the largest Oil reserves in our hemisphere. Chavis nationalized the oil and kicked out international corporations. Meduro followed in his footsteps. The blockade and now strikes is fundamentally about them not paying tribute to the empire in a modern sense.

Combination:

1) Chinese working deals to take over Venezuela. They want to be daddy of those Latin American countries.

2) Narco-trafficking

3) We need that heavy crude oil because we can't produce it ourselves. All our oil is light shale. Plus Chavez nationalized their oil after U.S. and international oil companies built all the infrastructure.

This has been brewing forever.

Maduro is facing charges in the US since 2020. Hes facing charges or sanctions in the EU, Canada, Colombia, Brazil, and others. He’s a known sponsor of terror and drug trafficking. He famously avoided assassination and stole the 2024 election to stay in power - exiling opposition leaders to protect his power.

There was the TdA stunt which resulted in dead Americans. There’s reports of Hezbollah operating on Margarita Island. Of course Maduros recent flirtations with the CCP, and many other issues.

This was being described as a cooperation and a “negotiated” strike.

I think we are looking at inside job, and Maduro was essentially handed over to the US.

For its abundance of beta-carotene. In excess, it turns the skin orange.

Venezuela is Saudi Arabia before they got established.

China was moving into our hemisphere and preparing to run Saudi 2.0 and Trump said absolutely not.

Yep. Donald told everyone that a while back in one of his weird posts, maybe one of the late night ones, where he ranted about the big wheels in oil and gas losing their asses and us losing "our" land and oil.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been a mention of rare earth minerals yet.
