Forget the shite talking, he did that in purpose to get IU some juice.

We know he can scout like crazy and he will have the best knowledge base of anyone in the next 2-3 yrs on college talent in the NFL.

We know he can develop a QB and would bring his whole IU operation with him (a la Jimmy Johnson at Miami to Cowboys) and we know he can build a program better than anyone else.

And we know if he got hired by the Raiders, he would draft Mendoza and it would be a seamless offensive transition.

So why wouldn't the Raiders take a chance on him?? What else to they have to lose?

Why would any coach with half a brain sign on for that disaster?

I don't know why he'd give up the set up he's got right now. He just got a huge raise and will be a God in Indiana if he has a few more seasons like the last couple.

No ty, too old and zero NFL experience. NFL doesn't hire guys with zero NFL experience, just doesn't happen. Like 3 in 50 years and all the recent ones were terrible (Kingsbury, Meyer, Kelly).

Not saying they would offer him, but if the Steelers came open you got to think he’d be tempted as a Pittsburgh guy.

His personality and how he handles his players wouldn’t fly in the NFL. All NFL coaches are “players coaches” to a degree nowadays because most of them need their egos stroked

Is it reasonable to say he's made one of the greatest program turnarounds in history?

Oh, those few more seasons won’t be needed.

God-mode has been achieved.
