Why not just retire? Not like he cant afford it.

maybe he doesn't like being at home

Should've stayed at OSU

Of all the coaches that hate the current state of college football he may hate it the most.

Eventually he will do a good job. Eventually.

He likes being around the locker room.

Has there been a bigger fall from grace than Kelly? Good grief.

Probably. There are coaches that can’t get jobs because they’re not good at it.
Kelly is good enough to keep getting jobs when he wants one. He was just so good at Oregon because his offense wasn’t figured out quite yet. Now, it’s a pretty routine thing.
The guy likes doing what he’s doing without having to deal with all the HC responsibilities. I’m sure if he were dying to be a head coach, there’s at least one program that would hire him.

Yeah, not like he won a national championship with Ohio State as their OC or anything

I'm sure there are countless falls that have been bigger. Chip was the OC of a national championship team less than a year ago, which got him another NFL opportunity. It didn't work out, but the Raiders are a disaster anyway.
Landing another OC job at a B1G program isn't a bad gig. He'll likely improve Northwestern's offense, too.

Yes.. And his name is Bill Belichick. Don’t think I even need to explain this one

62 and getting paid at least $2m to be around a team.

Does Chip Kelly have a home?

When I heard about this at first I thought I was being pranked. I almost can't believe it. While didn't directly "steal" from the Buckeyes, just getting their OC from last year...I am amazed.
