Its pretty much playoffs or bust for him next year.

He wrecked the Ferrari. Clemson had everything going for it but dabo refused to adapt and now its too late. They've been left behind

Clemson is such a dumpster fire. Dabo may want to start wearing any clothing or apparel with insignia from when they previously were in championship games so Clemson fans can remember that he once led them there.
He's been daring the Clemson AD to fire him for the past two years now and they're gonna owe him a shite ton of money or they're gonna have to suck it up and sink to the bottom of the ACC and owe him less.

Dabo with Les miles assistance is the only reason Clemson ever won. Dabo has now wrecked the car again
His refusal to play the modern game is going to lead to him being fired

It will have to completely derail for them for him to get fired next year.
He makes a bowl game he is safe

I don’t see how he gets past next year. They’re turning over a ton of experience and reinforcements aren’t coming
I don’t think Clemson imagined they’d be this bad this year and weren’t ready to fire him / execute a search. This probably wouldn’t be the window anyway
ETA: Nevermind his buyout next year is $57 million. Oof

Some idiot NFL GM will draft him because of "measurables", and be sadly disappointed.

Clemson’s President has recently retired. He was Dabo’s buddy and attended all of the away games, etc. Catered to Dabo. It’s going to be a different world at Clemson pretty soon.

His recruiting has been underwhelming lately too. Current class is only ranked 4th in the lowely ACC

The alums I know point to this as to why he isn't on the hot seat

Will definitely start warming up when he starts next year 0-1.

The couple I have run into have said they don't want him fired, that he deserves to stay for what he has done for them in the past. These were not big-time boosters, though.
