Obviously LSU shoving Ole Miss and Florida in a locker for Lane Kiffin was peak. It was the equivalent of THE JUDGE launching a COLOSSAL 450 foot dong to dead center. But no cap Sparty scoring Big Pat is the third best hire. Bro won with smart kids at Northwestern. He can make some noise with that Michigan State money. Sparty back up soon.

Agreed Jerry. LSU absolutely dropped their nuts all over the sec, espn, and cfb in general.

VA Tech is a good choice. They’ll win some games but that’s it. It’s James Franklin’s thing, but that’s much better than what they’ve been doing recently. No cap demoting Brent Pry was the move.

Based on quality of the coach + quality of the P4 program (who they should expect to get):
1. Lane to LSU
2. Franklin to VaTech
3. Morris to Okie State
4. Chesney to UCLA
5. Fitz to Michigan State
6. KW to Michigan
Good get for Michigan but he's the only short term solution on this list.

Don’t get the hype
Fitzgerald finished 1-8 in the Big 10 in 3 of his last 4 seasons at Northwestern before being fired. He went 1-11 his last year there.
The one season in those last 4 years where he had a winning record was that fluke covid year where everyone was cancelling games and playing in empty stadiums.
He gets fired after winning a combined 4 games in his last 2 seasons. His replacement comes in and immediately turns Northwestern around, winning 8 games in his first season.
So Michigan State fired a couch who went 4-15 over his last 2 years to hire a couch who went 4-20 over his last 2 years in the same conference
He isn’t gonna do much at Michigan State
