Your chances of upward mobility in the job market is extremely limited if you don't speak English. It's becoming the language of international business.
It's also the most specific language. English has several levels between 'cute' and 'gorgeous.' Some languages only have one level... their version of 'pretty.'

I work in fraud ops for a relatively large company. Lawrence, Mass is a hotbed for credit card fraud, insurance fraud, and identity theft.

Exactly. ‘Diverse’ means ‘not-white’. Doesn’t matter what race or ethnicity. Just not white. One of the the many distortions and whole cloth created new terns now recognized as part of the the English language. It’s disgusting.
