Tear it down and rebuild around DQ and Fears. Don’t think there is really another option.

Simple. Get rid of Zion. Ideally add a 4 that has some size, defends and rebounds first and foremost. Think Aaron Gordon around Jokic. If he can shoot, home run. Design around DQ and count on improvements and additional strength on Fears. Not to mention full offseasons for Herb and Trey.

With no picks of value and not being a destination for free agents we’re stuck in perpetual development franchise mode. With awful ownership and management this team needs to be gone in 5 years.

The most important thing is simply to continue to develop Fears and Queen and surround them with the right kind of talent. It's great that we also ended up with McGowens and Peavy this year. They, combined with the continued growth from Karlo, give us a nucleus of young talent on cheap contracts, which in turn creates roster flexibility.
But the Pels will likely improve next season if Fears and Queen improve. That's the foundation for the future.

Missi/ Bey off the bench for $10mil is insane aswell. Even if we give Bey a $10-$15mil extension they are a steal under $20mil combined.
DJ/ Fears/ ????

Trey/ McGowens/ Peavy
????/ ????/ Karlo
Queen/ Missi/
You are looking for 2 starters with a combo of Herb/ Zion/ Jose/ Hawk and about $60mil. And you could add Poole in there for $90mil. With $90mil and Zion/ Herb/ Poole/ Jose as assets I'd be pissed if we don't end up with another young player to pair with Fears/ Queen even if we have to trade those guys together. I'd trade Missi too if it is a dealbreaker.
We should really be looking at what a Zion/ Missi/ Herb trade package maxes out at.

The plan is development. We shouldn’t be trading any 1sts.
I think Zion, Jose, and Bey are gone by the start of next season. Dejounte and Poole are bad contracts right now so they’re here to stay.
The rest of the team is going to look pretty much the same.

I'm confused. Are you trading Zion, Herb, Jose and Fears for Harper and Sochan?

Zion for Michael porter and ill throw in a future protected pick just to get rid of him.
Porter can play 3 or 4 and let Q rotate 4-5.

Jose is a free agent. Trading Zion, Herb, and Fears to add Sochan and Harper and unload Poole’s contract. Probably not a straight up deal with the Spurs. But the Spurs could use Herb and/or Zion, and they have Fox and Castle, so Harper might be expendable. The biggest benefit is dumping the 70 million/ year owed to Zion and Poole.
