Long story short, guy posted yesterday urging Aggie fans to bring cotton balls to throw on the field at the end of the game if they won. Now he’s having to walk it back bc the “everything’s racist” crowd is hassling him.

What a demented world we live in.

Kind of gay anyways. Not like the Cotton Bowl in the championship game. You'd still have two more after that. Fitting for A&M to act like a round 1 of 4 win is for the championship.

People just threw them in the air in the stands and the wind might take them down to the field.

It was a tradition when the SWC champs went to the Cotton Bowl.

Yeah, it's silly. But this particular bit isn't new. Wasn't there something in that "The U" 30 for 30 about Miami's players getting pissed that they were given cotton as gifts/greeting when they arrived in Dallas? (Not in a malicious way, the bowl seemed to welcome every team that way, the U just took it the wrong way).

Why we allow vapid liberal white women to comment on cultural and political issues, I have no idea.

A&M can bring their bubble machines and blow bubbles onto the field instead

Idk, but someone has time to get upset about that? Shouldn’t look at their shirt tags or consider the history of sugar the next time they order a soda.

My “white” mother picked cotton, everyone in the family had to work.

The one complaining sit around all day doing nothing but bitching about how bad they have it.

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with the other poster that inferred the stupidest thing about this whole thing is trying to throw cotton balls at any real distance.

My grandparents and their families picked cotton for extra money when they were growing up. This was in St. Helena and Tangipahoa Parish.
