Trump home.

Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel are preparing to turn over to Congress bombshell emails showing the FBI warned that the Biden Justice Department did not have probable cause to raid President Donald Trump‘s home at Mar-a-Lago, but prosecutors proceeded anyways, Just the News has learned. The emails are to be turned over as early as Tuesday to the Senate and House Judiciary committees, ahead of a planned deposition Wednesday from ex-special prosecutor Jack Smith, who inherited the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case just months after the August 2022 raid of Trump's home that rocked the political world ahead of the 2024 election.

The memos show the FBI's Washington field office "does not believe they established probable cause" prior to raiding Trump's Florida home, according to one source with direct knowledge of the memos about to be turned over to Congress. It has long been rumored that some FBI agents disagreed with the decision to raid Trump's home to look for classified documents at the request of the National Archives. But the soon-to-be released emails will chronicle the specific concerns that DOJ under President Joe Biden had not met the standard for a search warrant, but proceeded anyway, officials said.

What recourse is there now?

If no one goes to jail or at the very least loses their job, I no longer care about any of this stuff. It is not a bombshell; it is business as usual.

Oh wow....bombshell memos. I'm sure Republicans will write bombshell letters in response. Maybe even send out a bombshell subpoena.

How gullible do you have to be to believe this? The search warrant said there was probable cause that classified documents were being held at MaL and guess what they found?

i have found myself right here the last few months. i watch less news on the tv, i come to this board a lot less. we are all just here watching them take it to us.
spare me the 'you're just gonna sit back and take it' approach. voting has become meaningless (I still vote), outrage over anything happening to anyone in DC is meaningless unless its against Trump or R's, and media's collusion with the left's agenda just keeps everyone involved on their side (D's and R's) untouchable. i hope trump keeps fighting the good fight in areas where he can make improvements to the country and economy, but expecting anything to happen to anyone in DC on the other side is just charlie brown to the football with Lucy laughing at you.

So you can't perform a raid unless 100% of all FBI agents agree?
They raided the home because they thought he had classified documents. They found classified documents. End of story. This is on Trump and only maga cult members would think otherwise.

Honest question, did a judge have to sign off on it and if so please tell me it was Blowhard

That's what a judge is for.

Of course it was who else? The raid was totally unnecessary and done for political reasons. Hell some claim there was a shoot to kill order or something I'm not sure about this.
What I do know is Joe Biden had classified docs in his possession totally unsecured and without a doubt illegally obtained. He was not raided.

Now that would be a story, if it's as clear as is being reported.

Trump’s lawyers challenged the warrant on the basis that there was no probable cause and *Aileen Cannon* ruled that probable cause existed.

You're all not gonna believe this. I just got back here from the future. The GOP does NOTHING with this information.
But don't worry - the Dems still impeach Trump again with their first order of business, er second order of business. First was the willing handoff of power from the republicans.

Citation for anyone who wants to read
quote:
U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon on Thursday swept aside former President Donald Trump’s claims that FBI officials misled the court to obtain permission to search his Mar-a-Lago estate as part of an investigation into mishandling of national security secrets.
However, the judge coupled that ruling with a decision that is likely to further drag out the already protracted proceedings in the criminal case charging Trump with hoarding classified documents at his Florida home and obstructing the federal probe into the matter.
In an 11-page ruling, Cannon said Trump’s contention that the FBI misrepresented facts to a federal magistrate judge in order to secure the search warrant was largely meritless.
On the campaign trail and on social media, Trump has repeatedly referred to the August 2022 search as “illegal.” And at a hearing before Cannon in Fort Pierce, Florida, on Tuesday, Trump’s lawyers argued the FBI omitted key information from its search warrant application that might have affected the outcome.
But the Trump-appointed judge concluded that none of that information would have made a difference.
“[N]one of the omitted information — even if added to the affidavit in support of the warrant — would have defeated a finding of probable cause” to search Trump’s home, Cannon wrote.
