There’s a LSU men’s basketball game today

My guess is they will lose the game but not look as shitty as they did last game. A moral victory would be nice.

SMU will be the second best team we've played this year. We did not do so well against the best one our last outing.
They have beaten 2 of the 3 SEC teams they have played, Miss. St. and Texas A&M and lost to Vandy pretty badly. It would be nice if we can bounce back with a better outing. That last game was VERY disappointing.
I certainly don't think SMU is a team we can't beat or compete with. it should be a very competitive game and I would be disappointed again if we don't compete well tonight.

I refuse to watch another game or support LSU basketball in any way until we have another coach. If the LSU administration doesn’t care about our basketball program then why should I.

I'll be watching. Hoping for a win. I don't think the team is as bad as it appears they looked in the first half of the last game. Today will tell us more; it may fan the flames of hope or extinguish them completely, though more like somewhere in between for those who haven't staked a position that they cannot seem to pull away from (there are folks on both sides of this).

If we get down by more than 6 points we’ll pretty much only shoot 3 pointers for the rest of the game or until we’re down by 30. It’s the McMahon offensive philosophy.

SMU looks like a team that will be on the bubble this season, will be a good measure of what to expect in conference play.

Win tonight and we may have a little more leeway in SEC.
Lose tonight and we’re going to really have to make a mark in the SEC and not 7-11 or 8-10 with 2 wins against USCe. Last year (14 SEC NCAAT teams, LSU turning down an automatic NIT bid) is not this season.
SMU very well could finish top 50 NET, making this a Quad 1 win opportunity. Casuals don’t understand how important that is.

I’m going to watch Arkansas vs Texas Tech just to see how Arkansas handles them and whether they are as good as what they showed against LSU. If TT gets either run out of the gym or dismantled in some way, then I’ll know it will be a long year

The line is oddly a pick em basically. Is it LSU getting respect or does Vegas have this all wrong? I feel SMU is the better team by more than a point.
