Jazz Fest ‘26 lineup

Doesn't the lineup normally come out in January? If so, that's why I hesitate seeing this.

I just checked 2026 tour dates for EWF, WMFP, Eagles, Byrne ... and all are touring in the NOLA geographical area or available to play between the JF dates listed. That band list may have some smoke 
The Eagles are doing their 12 night LV residency from 1/23 - 3/28 and no confirmed dates afterwards. David Byrne will be on a 73 event, worldwide tour from JAN - JUL: Sugarland, TX Fri 4/24 ..... St Louis Tues 4/28 . Pretty sure Byrne has not toured since 2018 so he would likely draw a huge crowd

I don’t hate that lineup at all, but it does seem a little…white for Jazz Fest. That’s a lot bigger emphasis on country music than I’m used to seeing there.

Edit: spring 2026 is their last tour and they are in texas around jazzfest dates.

I think I read somewhere where they are retiring after some shows in 2026. My wife and I just happened to see them open for Tedeschi Trucks in Charlotte in October and I was quite impressed with them, they still have some gas left in the tank.
And Scott Sharrard, who used to be with Greg Allman, is one heck of a talented guy

Haven't seen Tyler Childers since Hogs for the Cause in 2018 when he had a pony tail and wasn't sober. Looking forward to seeing him again.
