I’ve got a few days in town for a conference. My wife will be with me. We will not have a car. We’re staying downtown. The Hyatt Manchester.
Any must do’s?
I was told no on a round at Torrey Pines.

Bike around Coronado. And grab a drink at the Del why you’re there.

It’s too bad you’re going to be in conferences during the day! My wife and I spent 3 days there and walked everywhere. We started out walking with suitcases from the airport to Stone Brewing. They have a great restaurant and outdoor dining. We ubered to our hotel from there.
The next day we walked to the seafront and caught the ferry over to Coronado. A 15 minute walk gets you to the little downtown there, the Del Ray hotel, and checked out the beach. Stopped at a Coronado Brewing restaurant for an app before catching the ferry back. We did not tour the USS Midway but its right there at the seafront. Walked to Little Italy that evening and had dinner at some Italian place. Then stopped in at Ballast Point brewing for nightcap draft. You could also eat dinner there.
The next day we took the light rail and transferred to a bus to get to LaJolla. Waked around there saw the sea lions. Not much else to do there except some high end shops and restaurants. That night walked to Gaslamp district and had dinner at a mexican place.
The last day we walked to the zoo which is world class. Better than Audubon and beautiful weather! Had to fly back that evening.
