OMG this is the saddest most pathetic meltdown of all time. Turns out the Golden Domers are the ultimate take your ball and go homers.

FSU and Clemson are about to become best friends with ND for taking down the ACC.

Same guy broke this news
For every 100 predictions he makes, he gets 1 right. This may be his "1" this year, but I would take anything he says with a massive grain of salt.

It will be interesting to see who takes Notre Dame if they won't join for football as well.

Doesn't the Big 10 already play some games on NBC? Seems like they can make something work.

Big East is their only option and they already helped torpedo that league once.
Who would want to deal with that level of entitlement especially when nobody cares about Notre Dame non-football sports?

I think they have like 10 years left on their deal with the ACC so this is BS. However, they are a square peg in a round hole with the ACC. They should have stayed in the Big East.

Who the frick do these people think they are? Your football team is not in the ACC, why would they prop you up over their own

Big East has changed a bit since those days. Big East is a collection of Catholic schools now.

How will ACC women's basketball recover?

Why is this a meltdown by ND? They currently are obligated to play 5 ACC teams a year. But the ACC blows in football.
And people said their schedule was weak so they were left out of the playoffs - again, mainly because the ACC blows.
And you are faulting them for wanting out from a weak conference to free up their flexibility in their schedule?

ND is in big ten for hockey.

That leaves them 7 other games. And don't give me they have to keep Army, Navy, and Boston College on schedule when they were fine dropping Michigan.

They aren't filling out that schedule with SEC and B1G teams. Nobody in the SEC is dropping playing Charleston Southern at home in November before their rivarly game so they can go play in South Bend Indiana. The ACC agreement is saving them currently.

Would improve the Big 10 men's lacrosse, soccer, and baseball too.

The Big East would take them in a heartbeat if ND can get out of the GOR to the ACC. Right now the ACC owns the media rights for ND's olympic sports until 2036. That might not affect ND's bottom line much but it does factor into the math for the Big East. IMO ND's main problem will be finding football schools to schedule if they remain independent in football.

And if Notre Dame is as soft as everyone says they are, SEC teams will line up for a free marquee win.

Auburn just set up a home and home series with them, so….swing and a miss
