I'm waiting for its streaming price to go down and I'll buy it without watching b/c I'm that certain I will like it.

Been a big fan of the director since I saw Dogtooth on Netflix in the mid-2010s.

I thought that it was a step back in the right direction. Loved Favourite and Killing of a Sacred Deer, and really liked The Lobster. Didn't care for Poor Things (though I loved the visuals/art styles) and hated Kinds of Kindness. As always (with the exception to Favourite), it's not for casual watchers, but for the most part, it's a lot less "weird" than his previous two.

Same here, although I'm waiting until it's free.

I suspect I already know how it ends, but I really want to see it.

I enjoyed it more than Eddington and OBAA, which all have similar themes. Really want to give it a rewatch.

super meh

SPOILERS

hard to willingly suspend belief that after 4 days the FBI and police couldn't track her $200,000 g-wagon hidden in some shrubs and that the fat sheriff wouldn't have someone coming to look for him or his squad car sitting in the driveway after he didn't report in.

of course her entire abduction at her million-dollar mansion wasn't captured on any cameras either nor were there any servants around while this was playing out.

couple that with him riding his bike back and forth down main street after committing murder (seen by multiple people) and nobody caught up to him or stopped him.

and nobody came to the CEO's aid when she came limping back into the office with a dude covered in blood and dirt despite checking in with the security gate guard, valet guard in front of her office, front desk security guard who had to buzz her through and 50 employees en route to her office.

also there was no big reveal; you could see where this was going from the start; it would have made a better black mirror short than a drawn-out 2 hour movie.
