I know they were in a pinch when Baker pulled his name, but how do you justify giving that job to someone who went 8-19 (14-30 overall) in the Sun Belt?

Ed wants whatever is going to pay him the most. His agent reached out to Louisiana Tech as well to float his name in the event of an opening.

I was a UNA bleacher creature when Will Hall won the equivalent of the Heisman of it's classification. I have followed him closely since then. Great person and coach albeit his career trajectory has been pretty slow to take off.

I would hate to love that hire for Tech since they’re rejoining the sun belt and will likely end up playing ULM a lot. I feel like Ed could actually do really well at a smaller school like that. Maybe ULM will have an opening after BV finishes year 3, that tends to be when coaches get the axe around here.
