When I was kid going to Bon Marche or Westmoreland, they had the Satellite plates. Fried cod, fries, and green beans, with chocolate pie for dessert was my usual favorite. Later on the roast beef was my regular. I miss the days when the line was out the door and everything was always fresh.

I haven’t been in so long I wouldn’t know what to get but your order seems pretty darn good.

The Sherwood Forest one is open still. My Son asked me what it was yesterday because he saw a commercial or something. It was just as good as I recall. I am 48. Besides my son I was the youngest in there.

Chopped steak with white rice, brown gravy.

Green Jello

I haven’t been in years but when I was a kid I’d devour that combo.

I love Piccadilly. I force my family to go every year when the first cold front comes in.

Dilly plate: hamburger steak, mash potatoes, green beans, garlic bread, chocolate pie and a Coke all for under $12
