Way outside the Los Angeles area in a city called Fontana they had 1 drive in theater there. One time they had a showing of Roots there. They played the movie backwards so it had a happy ending.

I have seen it and always wondered why there was not ever a white version of Roots. I would love to learn who sold the white people to Ghenghis Khan.

I thought a reboot was coming. You know, Karens leading the charge to free and educate the ''poor souls'' to a better life because of their sacrifices

I was in 7th grade when it aired and i was attacked more than once randomly by black kids i didn't even know at my school. No way to know for sure, but I always suspected that the show poisoned relations between whites and blacks at the school. Never experienced anything like it before that but I did after.

Slave owners were not trying to take over the world and destroying anyone who got in their way. So, the two are not anything close.
