question for fellow Christians

I have a friend who is one of those spiritual but not religious people. They run an event space and are hosting a medium next week. They invited me to go and I'm throwing it out here to see whether y'all would go or not.
I'm curious to see this since I like people watching and this should make for some fascinating stuff. I used to think talking to the dead was all bullshite. But, the older I've gotten the more I'm convinced demons walk the world. This medium isn't summoning anyone's dead grandpa, but rather being feed facts by these evil spirits.
I'm torn. I feel strong enough in my faith that I'm protected, but I really don't want to be anywhere evil spirits are actively communicating with people around me.
Any thoughts, past experiences, or smart arse comments are welcomed.
ETA In my heart I know this is not anything I should be a part of, but Wormwood kept whispering in my ear all the excuses I wanted to hear. Thanks for your encouragement to make me he decision to not go.

No, simply because i think mediums are grifters that prey on emotionally weak people and i wouldnt want to spend my free time watching that.

It’s a portal to the dark side. If you’re truly a Christian you should be nowhere near a place or event that empowers and invites evil into people.
