Don't match with them. If there are filtered pictures and no candids, move on. If they say their love language is gifts, move on.

Pay for 2 dating apps at once, max. Tinder and either Hinge or Bumble, not both. Change your secondary app every 30 days. Disable push notifications. Check and respond to messages or likes at the end of your lunch hour, and then leave it alone until tomorrow.

You have to manage your expectations, and your dopamine hits. It's fun to match with a lot of hotties every week, but it's bad for your brain.

I’ve been out the game for a long time but my advice is you’re going to find the same type chick in a bar as you would on a dating app. Basically skanks or chicks expecting way more from you than they have to offer.

Try getting involved in more mixed activities. Church is one, co-ed sports, but overall just be active and nice. You can meet someone anywhere (gym, bookstore, grocery, etc). Don’t be creepy, but also don’t be scared to smile and talk to people either.

Not sure your outlook, but it’s also important to remember that there’s a reason you’re 41 and single just like whoever you meet is going to have reasons they’re single. People that age have some sort of battle scars either mentally or physically from life experiences. If you’re looking for perfection, you’ll be single forever.
